hey everyone.
im new here and obviously have a thing for kevin. [i also have a thing for stating the obvious...] i was just wondering if anyone has an suggestions for lj icons that i could make that have some sort of kevin/kevin refference in them. im probably going to make some more icons with stuff from "the broken" icons. [kind of like mine] and would anyone actually want me to post them up here? cause if you don't i can just go back to hiding in the corner until someone newer than me announces their arrival.

It's official, Sarah and I have signed our contracts and are now making the move to G4TechTV in LA. We are in San Francisco through the end of July. From what I've seen, the new LA TSS is going to be quite a show, and we are very excited to get started on it ASAP.
The sooner the better! I am so over G4 already.

wow! A whole Kevin Rose community *_* I have to admit that I'm slightly obsessed with him (the cute, crazy dark tippering, genies). heh.
It doesn't seem like any of you like the new g4tech tv. I have to agree, although at first it sounded great, since I love videogames and I didn't have G4. But where did all the techtv goodness go? G4 has taken over, and is it me or do all the shows seem alike? I miss call for help, and worst of all...seeing much less of kevin.

Did ya'll see what Kevin posted to his site?
I'm sad to say that due to the current conditions (me having to move to LA for G4TechTV) thebroken has to be put on hold for the time being.
We can only hope that he and the rest of the crew can somehow make a positive influence on the G4 programming... I guess we'll all have to hold tight and support the shows we love to illustrate how WE want the programming to change.
I've been to the G4 messageboards and it seems like there's this whole fascist clampdown on the folks who want to criticize the merger. Have any of you been there yet?

God this merger totally blows. I haven't seen a decent program yet from G4! Every time I flip over to the station, there's some stupid screen shot of a game on, or an ugly guy standing in front of a row of games at a store. The production quality is crap over there! I can't imagine what they're going to do to our favorite shows... I'm sure they'll be ruined. G4 is obivously meant for a much younger audience that TechTV was. I'm afraid I won't be watching it anymore.
Hope Kevin continues to produce his Internet show, The Broken.

"I've just learned that G4 has fired the entire staff of TechTV.
Per the WARN Act (governing plant closings) all the employees of TechTV have been given 60 days notice. The San Francisco operation will be shuttered by July. 100 of the existing jobs will be posted for those willing to relocate to LA.
Outgoing COO, Joe Gillespie will say good-bye to the troops tomorrow. Incoming CEO Charles Hirschorn will say hello (and good-bye) on Monday.
No word on which shows G4 will keep or which hosts will be kept on."
Let's hope they keep Kevin!

I'm glad I found this community. IMO, Kevin rules. Not to mention he's cute as sin ^_^. I really hope that he can begin to fill Leo's spot on TSS, now that Leo's gone. It may take some time, but I think that Kevin has it in him!

It's great to find a group that are fans of Kevin's. I think he's really lucky to have Sarah as a gf, and she's lucky to have him. Though I find it odd that he doesn't have a blog, just the picture one on his site and nowhere can u find out like how old he is though ImDb indicates that he was born in '77, making him 26. I still don't know his birthday.
I am looking to find a boy that's like him, personality and he is really quite cute.

Just thought I'd mention that a particularly fun D-Tip segment is currently up on the ScreenSavers site tonight. Crazy Kevin BLOWS UP a harddrive in it's case in his backyard, nearly setting the damned place on fire! There is a lot of really good data wiping info given in his article, as well. I finally got around to downloading PGP by following the link he included.
